Narges Rashidi is an Iranian actress who played the lead role of Shide in *Under the Shadow* (2016). The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars and earned Rashidi recognition on *Variety*'s list of 'The Best Performances of Sundance 2016.' She also won the Jury Award for Best Actress at the 2016 Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival. In addition to her notable work in *Under the Shadow*, Rashidi appeared in *Gangs of London* (2020). Since 2011, she has resided mainly in Los Angeles.
