Nafisa Ali is an Indian actress who made her film debut in the 1977 movie 'Ankur'. After an 18-year hiatus from the industry to raise her children, she returned to acting with roles in films such as 'Life in a Metro' (2007), 'Guzaarish' (2010), and 'Uunchai' (2022). Nafisa comes from a diverse family background, being the daughter of a Bengali Muslim father and an Anglo-Indian mother. She has a notable lineage, including connections to a prominent Bengali writer and a decorated freedom fighter. Ali is married to retired Colonel R.S. Sodhi, a celebrated polo player. Her return to cinema has allowed her to re-establish her presence in the film industry.
