Mylène Demongeot is a French actress who became a star at 21 with her role as Abigail Williams in The Crucible (1957). Over her extensive career, she appeared in more than 100 productions across various languages, including French, Italian, English, and Japanese. Some of her notable films include Bonjour Tristesse (1958), where she played Elsa, and Les Trois Mousquetaires (1961) as Milady de Winter. Demongeot gained a cult following for her role in the Fantomas trilogy alongside Louis de Funès and Jean Marais. She was nominated for César Awards for her performances in 36 Quai des Orfèvres (2004) and French California (2006). Her final film was Retirement Home (2022), which she starred in alongside Gérard Depardieu.
