Morgan Freeman is an American actor who played Lucius Fox in The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005–2012). His career spans over five decades, during which he has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Freeman gained fame in the 1970s with his role in the children's series The Electric Company and achieved significant recognition for his performance in Street Smart (1987), earning an Academy Award nomination. He starred in notable films such as The Shawshank Redemption (1994), Se7en (1995), and Million Dollar Baby (2004), for which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Freeman also directed the drama Bopha! (1993) and co-founded Revelations Entertainment. He has received the Kennedy Center Honor and the AFI Life Achievement Award.
