Moon Chae-won is a South Korean actress who gained prominence in 2008 with her role as a gisaeng in Painter of the Wind. She achieved significant success in 2011, starring in the period drama The Princess' Man and the action film War of the Arrows, the latter becoming the highest-grossing Korean film of that year. Her performance in War of the Arrows earned her the Best New Actress award at both the Grand Bell Awards and the Blue Dragon Film Awards. Other notable works include the drama series The Innocent Man (2012) and Good Doctor (2013).
