Molly Parker is a Canadian actress who gained critical acclaim for her role as a necrophiliac medical student in the drama Kissed (1996). She made her mark in television with a lead role in the thriller Intensity (1997) and transitioned to film with Waking the Dead (2000). Parker's performance as a Las Vegas escort in The Center of the World (2001) earned her a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Her notable works include appearances in Max (2002), Pure (2002), and the HBO series Deadwood (2004-2007). More recently, she portrayed Jacqueline Sharp in House of Cards (2014) and starred in Lost in Space (2018-2021). Parker received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her guest role in Dexter (2011).
