Moana Williams

Moana Williams is a New Zealand actor who made his big screen debut as Young Gareth in A Minecraft Movie (2025). He began his acting journey at the age of 11, portraying Maui in the musical Moana Jr. with the Nelson Youth Theatre. By 15, he had participated in nearly 20 productions, frequently taking on leading roles. After relocating to Auckland in 2024, he earned two awards within six months through NSPA and Stage Antics. He also played Bill Austin in Mamma Mia at Westlake Boys College, directed by Dr. Nick Brown. Moana is involved in various acting courses and will join the Broadway Dreams NZ program in January 2026.
