Mithila Sharma is a legendary Nepalese actress and dancer who made her cinematic debut in Biswas (1986). With a career spanning over four decades, she has appeared in more than a hundred feature films, including notable works such as Mukundo (2000), Muna Madan, Sukha Dukha, and Basai. In addition to her film career, she is a classically trained dancer and has taught dance and performing arts at St. Mary’s School in Kathmandu. She has received several honors, including the Gorkha Dakshina Bahu and the Shiksha Padak. She also starred in The Man from Kathmandu (2019).
