Miranda Richardson is an English actress who made her film debut in Dance with a Stranger (1985). She received Academy Award nominations for her performances in Damage (1992) and Tom & Viv (1994), winning a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Damage. Richardson has also received multiple Golden Globe nominations, winning for Enchanted April (1992) and the television film Fatherland (1994). Her television credits include significant roles in Blackadder, The Lost Prince, and Rubicon. She earned an Olivier Award nomination for A Lie of the Mind (1987). She lent her voice to the character of the Queen in Chicken Run (2000).
