Milan Peschel is a German actor and director who received the Bavarian Film Prize and the German Film Prize for his lead role in Halt auf freier Strecke (2011). He began his career as a theater carpenter before studying at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. Peschel was a member of the Volksbühne Berlin ensemble from 1997 to 2008, performing in various productions directed by Frank Castorf and Dimiter Gotscheff. He has also worked as a director at the Maxim Gorki Theater and the Theater an der Parkaue. His film credits include Jim Button and the Wild 13 (2020) and a supporting role in Je suis Karl (2021).
