Mike Dopud is a Canadian actor who portrayed Detective Smits in the action-horror film White Noise (2005). His extensive career includes roles such as Agent Turner in Alone in the Dark (2005) and Vic Hadfield in the miniseries Canada Russia '72. Dopud also played Michael 'The Assassin' in the 2002 remake of Rollerball and had a significant role as Varro in Stargate Universe after performing stunts and minor roles in Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. He was nominated for a Taurus World Stunt Award in 2005 for Walking Tall. In addition to acting, Dopud briefly played professional Canadian football for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
