Mikayla LaShae Bartholomew is an American actress who appeared in the Academy Award-winning film "King Richard" (2021). She has a BFA in theatre performance from Virginia Commonwealth University and has also studied pre-nursing, gender, sexuality, and women’s studies. Bartholomew has performed in notable productions such as "Dear Mama," which won an NAACP Image Award, and the Sundance film "Grace." Her stage credits include "The Niceties," for which she received a RTCC Award, and "A Doll’s House: Part 2." Bartholomew is a 2020 Special Tony Award recipient. She has worked as a facilitator and programs producer for various Broadway shows, including "The Lion King."
