Mika Boorem is an American actress who made her film debut in Jack Frost (1998). She gained recognition for her performances in Blue Crush (2002), Carolina (2003), Sleepover (2004), and Smile (2005). Boorem has also appeared in Along Came a Spider (2001) and had supporting roles in Hearts in Atlantis (2001) and The Patriot (2000). In addition to her film work, she had recurring roles on the television series Dawson's Creek and Touched by an Angel. Boorem received a Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice TV Sidekick for her role on Dawson's Creek. She was featured in David Cook's music video "Light On" in 2008.
