Michelle St. John is a Canadian actress, singer, producer, and director who made her directorial debut with the documentary Colonization Road in 2016. A member of the Wampanoag Nation, she has participated in various creative endeavors across theatre, film, television, and music since the 1980s. St. John provided her voice for the character in the animated film Pocahontas (1995). She has contributed significantly to the representation of Indigenous voices in media.
