Michelle Ryan is an English actress who portrayed Zoe Slater in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 2000 to 2005, returning to the role in 2025. She starred in the 2007 revival of the American series Bionic Woman and played the sorceress Nimueh in the 2008 BBC series Merlin. Ryan also appeared as Lady Christina de Souza in a 2009 episode of Doctor Who, later reprising the role in several audio dramas from 2017 to 2023, including her own spin-off. Her work in television has established her as a recognizable face in the industry.
