Michelle Gomez is a Scottish actress who portrayed Missy in the British science fiction series Doctor Who (2014–2017). She gained prominence through her performances in the comedy series The Book Group (2002–2003), Green Wing (2004–2007), and Bad Education (2012–2013). Gomez's notable roles include Lilith / Madam Satan and Mary Wardwell in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018–2020), as well as Miranda Croft in HBO Max's The Flight Attendant (2020). She has also lent her voice to characters in animated films such as The Loud House Movie (2021). Gomez was nominated for a BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Doctor Who.
