Michelle Dockery is an English actress who made her professional stage debut in His Dark Materials in 2004. She gained prominence for her portrayal of Lady Mary Crawley in the television series Downton Abbey from 2010 to 2015, earning multiple nominations including a Golden Globe and three Primetime Emmy Awards. Dockery reprised her role in the films Downton Abbey (2019) and Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022). Her film credits include Hanna (2011), Anna Karenina (2012), and The Gentlemen (2019).
