Michael Zegen is an American actor who portrayed Joel Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023). He gained recognition for his recurring role as Tommy Gavin's nephew in the series Rescue Me (2004–2011) and as Bugsy Siegel in Boardwalk Empire (2010–2014). Zegen's career includes performances in the HBO series How To Make It In America and a guest role in The Walking Dead. He made his Broadway debut in A View from the Bridge (2015) and starred in the off-Broadway dark comedy Bad Jews (2014). Zegen has received two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for his work on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
