Michael York is an English actor who played Tybalt in Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet (1968). After his stage work with the Royal National Theatre, he gained prominence in film during the 1970s, featuring in leading roles across British and Hollywood productions. Notable performances include Brian Roberts in Cabaret (1972), George Conway in Lost Horizon (1973), and D'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers (1973) and its sequels. Later, he portrayed Basil Exposition in the Austin Powers series (1997–2002). York is a two-time Emmy Award nominee and received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002.
