Michael Sheen is a Welsh actor who portrayed British politician Tony Blair in a trilogy of films, including The Queen (2006) and The Special Relationship (2010). He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and initially focused on theatre, earning Olivier Award nominations for his performances in Amadeus and Look Back in Anger. Transitioning to film, Sheen appeared in Underworld (2003) and its sequel Underworld: Evolution (2006), as well as in The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011). His role as Brian Clough in The Damned United (2009) further demonstrated his range. Sheen received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in Masters of Sex (2013–2016).
