Michael Rooker is an American actor who portrayed the character Henry in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) and Merle Dixon in the television series The Walking Dead (2010–2013). Rooker has a long-standing collaboration with director James Gunn, appearing in Slither (2006), Super (2010), and The Suicide Squad (2021). His filmography includes performances in Tombstone (1993), JFK (1991), and Love and Monsters (2020). Rooker played Yondu Udonta in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and its sequels.
