Michael Rispoli is an American character actor who portrayed Jackie Aprile, Sr. in the HBO series The Sopranos. He graduated with a Theater degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 1982. Rispoli has appeared in several films, including While You Were Sleeping (1995), Volcano (1997), and Snake Eyes (1998). His other notable works include The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009) and Pain & Gain (2013). Rispoli reconnected with his Sopranos co-star James Gandolfini in the latter film.
