Michael P. Moran was an American actor and playwright who gained early experience in theater under Gilbert Rathbun. He moved to New York City in 1966, where he studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and became involved with the Manhattan Project and the Cooper-Keaton Group. Moran wrote and produced several plays, including 'Call Me Charlie,' which starred Danny DeVito, and he performed in various productions for the New York Shakespeare Festival. His film credits include 'Scarface' (1983), 'A Perfect Murder' (1998), and 'City by the Sea' (2002).
