Michael McDonald is an American stand-up comedian and actor who starred in the sketch comedy series MADtv. He gained recognition for his roles in films such as Little John in Halloween Kills (2021), Bryce Crean in The Boss (2016), and Patrick in Spy (2015). McDonald was a writer, director, and producer for the ABC series Cougar Town. His early career included small roles in various B-movies produced by Concorde Pictures, and he became a member of the Groundlings improv troupe from 1992 to 1997. He was the longest-tenured cast member of MADtv, joining in its fourth season and remaining until the penultimate thirteenth season. McDonald has also appeared in Ghostbusters (2016) and The Heat (2013).
