Michael J. Fox is a retired Canadian-American actor who portrayed Marty McFly in the Back to the Future trilogy (1985–1990). He gained fame in the 1980s with roles in films such as Teen Wolf (1985), Casualties of War (1989), and Doc Hollywood (1991). In addition to his film career, Fox starred as Mike Flaherty on the ABC sitcom Spin City from 1996 to 2000. He has also voiced characters in the Stuart Little series (1999–2005) and made guest appearances on shows like The Good Wife (2010–2016). Fox has received numerous accolades, including five Primetime Emmy Awards and an honorary Oscar in 2022 for his advocacy work related to Parkinson's disease.
