Michael Horse is an American actor who made his film debut as Tonto in The Legend of the Lone Ranger (1981). His notable roles include Deputy Hawk in David Lynch's Twin Peaks (1990–91) and the AIM activist Dennis Banks in Lakota Woman: Siege at Wounded Knee (1994). Horse lent his voice to a character in Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) and appeared in Dead Ant (2017). He reprised his role as Deputy Hawk in the third season of Twin Peaks.
