Michael Hitchcock is an American actor who appeared in Waiting for Guffman (1996). He has collaborated frequently with Christopher Guest in films such as Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003), and For Your Consideration (2006). Hitchcock's work in Best in Show was part of the film's nomination for a Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy and its win for Funniest Motion Picture at the American Comedy Awards. Additionally, he was part of the ensemble cast of A Mighty Wind, which received the Best Ensemble Cast award from the Florida Film Critics Circle. He also appeared in Serenity (2005) and Operation: Endgame (2010).
