Michael Herbig is a German comedian, film director, actor, voice actor, and author who gained prominence with his comedy show Bullyparade. His career took off in 1992 with over 800 radio appearances, leading to various television roles. He achieved significant success with his films, starting with Der Schuh des Manitu in 2001, which attracted over 11.7 million viewers, making it one of the most successful films in German cinema. Herbig continued to build on his success with (T)Raumschiff Surprise - Periode 1 in 2004 and later directed the live-action adaptation of Vicky the Viking, released in 2009. He also worked on Jim Button and the Wild 13 in 2020.
