Michael Fassbender is a German-Irish actor who made his feature film debut in 300 (2006). He gained significant recognition for his role as Bobby Sands in the drama Hunger (2008) and has since appeared in notable films such as Inglourious Basterds (2009), Steve Jobs (2015), and Alien: Covenant (2017). Fassbender's portrayal of a sex addict in Shame (2011) earned him the Volpi Cup for Best Actor, while his performances in 12 Years a Slave (2013) and Steve Jobs (2015) garnered Academy Award nominations.
