Michael Cochrane is an English actor who specializes in portraying upper-class characters, often revealing their darker sides. He has appeared in numerous television and radio roles, including Oliver Sterling in the long-running Radio 4 soap opera The Archers, as well as in series such as The Pallisers (1974), Wings (1977-78), and The Chief (1990-1995). Cochrane has also featured in the Doctor Who series, playing Charles Cranleigh in "Black Orchid" (1982) and Redvers Fenn-Cooper in "Ghost Light" (1989). His film credits include Offending Angels (2002) and he appeared in the 2022 film Living. He is married to actress Belinda Carroll.
