Michael B. Silver is an American actor who portrayed Assistant District Attorney Leo Cohen in the television series NYPD Blue. He has appeared in various television shows, including recurring roles in NBC's The InBetween and CBS' Instinct. Silver's film credits include S.I.S. (2008). He is a graduate of Brown University and comes from a family with a strong connection to the film industry, being the grandson of Oscar-winning screenwriter Sidney Buchman. His sister, Amanda Silver, is also a writer.
