Mercedes Ruehl is an American actress who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Fisher King (1991). She has received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and a Tony Award. Ruehl's notable film appearances include Big (1988), Married to the Mob (1988), Last Action Hero (1993), and Hustlers (2019). In addition to her film work, she starred in the stage production of Lost in Yonkers (1990). Ruehl also portrayed the mother of Vincent Chase in the HBO series Entourage.
