Mena Massoud is a Coptic Egyptian-Canadian actor who played Aladdin in Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin (2019). Raised in Canada after emigrating from Egypt, he attended St. Brother André Catholic High School in Markham, Ontario. Besides acting, Massoud is the founder of the plant-based food travel show Evolving Vegan and follows a vegan lifestyle. He also appears in Wish You Were Here (2025).
