Mehmet Kurtuluş is a Turkish actor who made his film debut as Gabriel in Fatih Akın's Kurz und schmerzlos (1997). He grew up in Germany and initially appeared in various television roles before gaining recognition in the mini-series Der Tunnel (2001), where he starred alongside Heino Ferch. His filmography includes the sex comedy Naked (2002) and the love film Eine Liebe in Saigon (2006), in which he acted opposite his fiancée, Désirée Nosbusch. Kurtuluş also played a lead detective in six episodes of the popular series Tatort. He has worked on international projects, including Big Game (2014).
