Megan Rapinoe is an American professional soccer player who played herself in The Soccer Football Movie (2022). She serves as a winger and captains OL Reign in the National Women's Soccer League. Rapinoe has achieved significant success with the United States national team, winning the Ballon d'Or Féminin and being named The Best FIFA Women's Player in 2019. She was part of the gold medal-winning team at the 2012 London Summer Olympics and was on the team that won the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2015 and 2019. Rapinoe co-captained the national team from 2018 to 2020 alongside Carli Lloyd and Alex Morgan. She previously played for teams such as the Chicago Red Stars and Olympique Lyon.
