Megan Follows is a Canadian American actress who portrayed Anne Shirley in the 1985 miniseries Anne of Green Gables. This production is recognized as the highest-rated drama in Canadian television history. Follows received two Gemini Awards for Best Actress for her performances in the first two installments, Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel, along with a nomination for the third installment, Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story.
