Maury Chaykin was an American-Canadian actor who portrayed Nero Wolfe in the series Nero Wolfe Mysteries (2001-2002). He relocated to Toronto in 1974 after studying at the University of Buffalo and had a prolific career in both Canada and the United States. Chaykin appeared in significant films such as Dances with Wolves (1990), My Cousin Vinny (1992), and The Sweet Hereafter (1997). He also featured in Twins (1988) and Entrapment (1999). His performances earned him several Genie Awards and nominations throughout his career. Chaykin's work left a lasting impact on both stage and screen.
