Matthew Gouveia is a Dora-nominated actor based in Toronto. He graduated with honors from the Humber College Theatre Performance program in 2010, receiving both the Dean’s and Board of Governor’s Awards. Gouveia's notable works include his portrayal of Chris Smith in the 2016 production of Killer Joe, which earned him a Dora Mavor Moore Award nomination. He has appeared on television in series such as Star Trek: Short Treks (2019), American Gods (2017), and Murdoch Mysteries (2019). Gouveia's film credits include See for Me (2022) and CODE 8 (2019). He has also worked as a voice actor in PAW Patrol and has experience as a director and acting coach.
