Matthew Elam is an American actor who made his feature-film debut as Ray Ray in The Many Saints of Newark (2021). He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from DePaul University's Theatre School, where he participated in productions such as Native Son and Romeo and Juliet. Elam began his screen career with a role in Chicago P.D. (2018) and gained recognition for his performance in the play Pipeline at Chicago's Victory Gardens Theatre the same year. He portrayed Lemuel Cannon in Season 4 of FX's Fargo. Elam is also a series regular in the Marvel Studios' Disney+ series Ironheart (2025).
