Matt Vogel is a Muppet performer who has worked with the Jim Henson Company since the 1990s. He has taken on various roles, including the primary performances of Big Bird in the "Journey to Ernie" segments. Vogel has also assumed the puppetry of characters originally performed by Jerry Nelson, such as Count von Count, while Nelson provided the voice.
