Mathew Baynton is an English actor, writer, comedian, singer, and musician who starred as Thomas Thorne in the BBC series Ghosts (2019-). He gained prominence for his performances in the children's series Horrible Histories (2009-2013) and created the family fantasy comedy Yonderland (2013-2016). Baynton's film credits include The Falling (2015) and Bill (2015), both of which showcase his comedic talents. He also appeared in the miniseries You, Me and the Apocalypse (2015) and had notable roles in Gavin & Stacey (2008-2009) and Quacks (2017). Baynton collaborated with James Corden on the comedy-thriller The Wrong Mans (2013-2014).
