Masanobu Ando is a Japanese actor and director who won the Film Academy of Japan's Best New Actor Award for his performance in Kids Return (1996). He has portrayed a diverse range of characters, including Kazuo Kiriyama in the controversial film Battle Royale (2000), a mentally challenged individual in Innocent World, and a bank robber in Space Travelers.
