Martin Mull is an offbeat comedian who gained fame for his role as Garth Gimble in the cult soap opera parody "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" (1976). He began his career in the arts as a painter before transitioning to stand-up comedy, which led to several Grammy nominations for his unique comedy albums. Mull's film appearances include notable roles in "Clue" (1985) as Colonel Mustard, "Mr. Mom" (1983), and "Cutting Class" (1989). He also starred in the spin-off series "Fernwood 2 Night" (1977) as Barth Gimble. In addition to acting, Mull is a distinguished multi-media artist and has published a book titled "Painting, Drawing and World."
