Martin Donovan is an American actor who played Jesus in The Book of Life (1998). He has collaborated with director Hal Hartley, featuring in Trust (1990) and Amateur (1994). Donovan portrayed Peter Scottson, a DEA agent in the series Weeds. His film credits include Ant-Man (2015), Tenet (2020), and Insomnia (2002). He made his writing and directing debut with Collaborator (2011), where he starred alongside David Morse.
