Mark Margolis is an American actor who began his film career in 1976. He appeared in Scarface and multiple works by Darren Aronofsky such as π (1998) and Requiem for a Dream (2000). Margolis has also made appearances in the series The Equalizer, Oz, and Breaking Bad. He featured in the films End of Days (1999) and The Tailor of Panama (2001). The role of Father Avila in The Fountain (2006) was specifically written for him by Aronofsky.
