Mark Ibold is an American musician who played bass guitar for the indie rock band Pavement. He recorded four studio albums with the group before their initial break-up in 1999. Ibold later joined Sonic Youth, an alternative rock band, remaining with them until their disbandment in 2011. In addition to his musical career, he appears in the film Pavements (2025).
