Mark Blum was an American actor who gained prominence with his lead role as Gary Glass in the film Desperately Seeking Susan (1985). He appeared in a supporting role as Richard Mason in Crocodile Dundee (1986) and had a recurring part as Union Bob in the Amazon Prime series Mozart in the Jungle from 2014 to 2018. Blum's film credits include Denise Calls Up (1995) and Coin Heist (2017). He was married to actress Janet Zarish from 2005 until his passing in 2020 due to COVID-19.
