Marisa Tomei is an American actress who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in My Cousin Vinny (1992). She gained early recognition through her work in the soap opera As the World Turns (1983–1985) and the sitcom A Different World (1987). Notable films in her career include Chaplin (1992), The Wrestler (2008), and Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011).
