Marisa Ramirez is an American actress who gained prominence for her role as supermodel Gia Campbell on General Hospital (2000-2002). She began her career in modeling at age 13 before transitioning to acting and hosting. Ramirez has appeared in several notable television series, including Detective Maria Baez on CBS's Blue Bloods and Detective Lina Flores on Lifetime's Against the Wall (2011). She also had a significant role as Melitta in Starz's Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (2011). In addition to her television work, she had guest appearances on Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful.
