Marion Ross is an American actress who played Marion Cunningham in the ABC television series Happy Days from 1974 to 1984. She began her career in summer theater in La Jolla, California, after being encouraged by a director to pursue film work. Ross graduated from San Diego State University, where she was recognized as the most outstanding actress. Her film credits include roles in The Courtship of Eddie's Father (1963), The Love Boat (1977), and The Drew Carey Show (1995). In addition to her television work, she has also appeared in films like The Princess Diaries (2001).
